Content Post - Posts Management

Content Post - Posts Management

Posts can be created in each of the Post Types. Depending on the configuration, both Marketplace Owners and Vendors have the ability to add to these Post Types.
NOTE: There has been a menu restructure in Omnyfy Release v4.0.6, and some menu items from this guide may have moved. Please see the menu update in the release notes if you are on this release or later: View the Release Notes for Omnyfy v4.0.6

You can access the posts by going to Marketplace Management > Post Types (different from the Content Post menu).

Vendors can see only Post Types available for Vendor Assignment (see Post Types configuration: Content Post - Post Type).

Simply select the Post Type you would like to add in, and you will be able to see a table of available posts. Note that depending on the Post Type Attribute Set on the Post Type (see Content Post - Post Type Attribute Sets), and the configuration, certain tabs and fields will be accessible to edit.

This will display any selected related posts to the current post in the Related section on the front end. This tab will only be available if this is enabled in the Post type.

Add any related posts to the current post, by simply selecting the tick box for that related post.
Note: Vendors will only be able to see their own posts

Related Products (if Enabled in the Post Type)

This will display any selected related products to the post in the Related section on the front end. This tab will only be available if this is enabled in the Post type.

Location Information (if Enabled in the Post Type)

This is used for Post Types that have Location enabled. The address input here will appear as a map location on the front end. First Add the Location Name to display what it will show up as on the map.

Next, there are 2 ways you can input a location. Manually or using the Address Look Up.

Manually - Here you will need to put in the Address, City, Region ID, Region, and Country manually. In addition, Latitude, Longitude will be used for the pin location, and the Postcode.

In Location address, by default, it's set to Manual population. If you choose "Cancel and Add address using Address Look Up", this will hide the Address, City, Region ID, Region, and Country fields. In addition, the Latitude, Longitude and Post Code will be auto populated. The button will also be changed to Add Address Manually.

Once you start typing in Location Address, you will start to see the the dropdown from Google - this will allow you to select an address in the Google database. If you do not see the address you need, then you will need to add in the address Manually.

Once you are done with the post, simply select Save at the top right
