What is the difference between Saleable Quantity and Quantity per Source?

When checking your products from the admin, you will notice that there are (by default) 2 columns regarding quantity and stock.

In some instances they may vary. The reason for this is they both handle stock at different points.

Quantity Per Source:

This is the amount of products that you should still have physically in your warehouse. This number is updated when products are shipped from orders. The stock will still remain the same if the product has been sold but not yet been shipped.

Saleable Quantity:

This is the amount of products that can be sold on the platform. When this reaches "0" (or the number for out of stock threshhold), the product will be set to Out of Stock - meaning for the most part, the product will not be available to purchase, and in most cases, not appear on the front end. This updates as soon as a product has been sold.

Key Difference

When an order is placed, Saleable Quantity is updated only.
When the products are shipped, Quantity Per Source is updated only
The reason that Saleable Quantity may be different from Quantity Per Source is that there may yet be products which have yet to be fulfilled.
