Sherpa is a leading local delivery solution provider that offers physical retailers or businesses looking for rapid local courier services, a streamlined delivery solution that can be booked instantly with 2 hour, 4 hour, same day and next day delivery options.
The Sherpa Shipping Method add-on module offers fast, local shipping to customers for marketplaces that can provide a single pick-up point for orders.
Prior to configuring Sherpa on the Omnyfy platform, please ensure you have created an account with Sherpa here - and that your account is an enterprise account (see below).
Upgrading your account to Enterprise
In order to use the Sherpa Shipping Method your Sherpa account must be upgraded to an Enterprise account. To do this you need to contact Sherpa, this can be done through the Live Chat functionality when logged in to your Sherpa account.

Marketplace Configuration
In order to use this shipping method the Marketplace must be using Overall Cart configuration for shipping, please see the Marketplace Shipping Calculation Management guide for how to set this.
Login to the Omnyfy Marketplace Backend, on the Admin sidebar, go to:
Stores -> Configuration -> Sales -> Shipping Methods -> Sherpa
Here you will find the overall module configuration
Enabled: This controls whether the module is enabled or disabled, set to Yes to enable it
Method Name: The name of the Shipping Method, can leave this as system value
Production Mode: this controls whether the method is in testing mode or production mode, if your website is still in the testing phase leave this as the system value of no. Once your website is live, untick "Use system value" and set to Yes
API URL Delivery Production: This can be left as the system value unless otherwise instructed to change
Client ID: This can be left as the system value unless otherwise instructed to change
Username: The username you created when you signed up for your Sherpa account
Password: The password you created when you signed up for your Sherpa account
Cut off time for same day delivery: After this time daily the same day options (2 hour, 4 hour, same day) will no longer be available (see more information on this below)
API URLs Delivery: This can be left as the system value unless otherwise instructed to change
API URL Token, API URL Shipping Dimensions and API URL Shipping Price: Leave the URLs for testing - but when launching to production, remove the 'qa.' at the beginning of the URL
Pickup Address Contact Name: This is the contact name sent to the Sherpa account for the booked pickup
Pickup Address Phone Number: This is the contact phone number sent to the Sherpa account for the booked pickup
Connect Account Webhook Signing Secret: Once your account has been converted to an Enterprise account (see more information below), you can get
this by visiting the following URL:

Simply input the URL of the sherpa webhook call (bold being dynamic) into the Delivery URL of the Sherpa interface, and your webhook key will appear. This webhook key is what you copy and paste into this field. (https://admin.site.com/sherpa/webhook/deliverystatus/store/website_id)
Next Day Delivery Options Label: The label shown to the Customer for the next day delivery option. This is the only option shown to the Customer for this shipping method after the time set in "Cut off time for same day delivery"
When bookings fail to go through to the Sherpa system for any reason an email is sent informing you of the failure and the reason for it. Sender Name is the setting for the from name of the email, Email Notification From is the email address the email will appear to be sent from and Email Notification To is the email address the email is sent to
Sherpa shipping message content: This setting allows you to display a message to Customers with information about shipping times. The may be required especially to inform customers that the 2 hour and 4 hour shipping methods may be longer due to time taken by stores processing orders
2 hour delivery - this delivery option gets Customer's orders to them within 2 hours of the delivery being booked. This service runs until 9pm and the delivery must be booked before 7pm
4 hour delivery - this delivery option gets Customer's orders to them within 4 hours of the delivery being booked. This service runs until 7pm delivery must be booked before 3pm
Same day delivery - this option guarantees the customer will receive their order on the same day they ordered it. The service runs until 7pm, if the delivery is booked before 12pm the Customer will receive it by 5pm, if the delivery is booked before 2pm the Customer will receive it by 7pm.
Next day delivery - Customers can choose this to have their order delivered the next day. Orders that choose next day delivery shouldn't be booked until the delivery day, timing follows the same rules as Same day delivery
