Rewards Points - Modifying a Customer's Rewards Points Balance
Marketplace Owners have the ability to modify a customer's rewards points balance from the backend of the platform.
First, once signed in to the platform as a Marketplace Owner/Administrator, navigate to Customers > All Customers.
Here, you will be able to see a table with the customers, and how many rewards points they have.
Search for the customer you wish to modify the balance, and on the Actions column on the right, choose Edit to load the Customer Edit page. Then on the left customer tabs, select Reward Points.
Here you can find the interface to change the balance of the current customer's Reward Points. You will also see a transaction log of all the points balance changes.
Field | Notes |
Available Points Balance | Indicates the current amount of points available for this customer. |
Change Balance | Use this to Add or Remove points from this customer. To remove points, set a negative number to remove. EG (-50) will remove 50 points. |
Message in rewards history | This can be used to provide a description for the change. You can see examples in the comment column from the table under. This message will be coming from the Marketplace, so keep in mind what message you write. |
Once completed, simply select Save or Save and Continue Edit to stay on the page.
