Project Bidding - Setting up your own Rates (as a Vendor)
Rates are pre-set line item templates vendors can use in proposals for projects. Rates can be managed from Marketplace Management > Bidding Configuration > Manage Rates.
On the Rates Management page, you will see your existing Rates, or alternatively, you can add new rates by selecting Add New Rate from the top right. To modify existing rates, use the Select and Edit dropdown from the Action column from the right side.
The page will then load the fields required to set a rate.
Field | Notes |
Assign Vendor | This will always be set to the Vendor logged in when making the Rate. Vendors can create rates and assign to vendors too. |
Code | Set the Line item SKU for this Rate (can be the name of the product if no real SKU is attached) |
Product Name | Enter the name of the line item |
Description | Used only in the Rate Grid table to help identify the milestone. |
Type | Choose from the following options:

Rate Amount | Set a line item price (without Tax) |
Tax Percentage | Adds the Tax % to the price. |
Tax Amount | This will automatically generate and add to the row total based on the Tax Percentage, Quantity and Price fields. |
Once you have completed your Rate, you can Save (or Save and Continue) your Rate and apply it to any proposal.
