I can't see my product on the marketplace.

I can't see my product on the marketplace.

There are a variety of reasons why your product may not appear on the marketplace front end. It could be a configuration issue, cache or it may not have been created properly in the back end at all. Here are some things to look out for.

Clear your cache / use private browsing

Sometimes your product may not appear due to your browser still looking at a cached version of the site/page. Sites are cached to ensure it loads faster on your computer - it saves a version of the site at a specific time so you don't have to download all the images and content again. When you create or edit products, this could be one of the reasons you may not see it straight away. Caches are generally cleared after every 24h however, depending on your browser, you can also clear this yourself.

EG: Windows Chrome

Alternatively, you can also use Private Browsing / Incognito Mode. This mode will open a new window and bypasses any cache to ensure you're served with the freshest version of the site.

If you don't see your product still, you may need to check the product settings.

Check the Product settings

Go to the backend and select Catalog > Products > Find your product. Here you will be able to troubleshoot some things.

Was the product imported correctly (applies to product import/fuse import)?

Check that your product is actually created in the back end. Confirm this in your product grid by going to Catalog > Product. Search for your product and ensure it is actually available.

If you are having trouble finding the product as a vendor - confirm with the Marketplace Owner to ensure that the product wasn't just assigned incorrectly. If the Marketplace Owner can see the product, but the Vendor cannot, then the Marketplace Owner just needs to confirm that the vendor field is correct
NOTE: The Vendor Information field is a field only the Marketplace Owner can see. Vendors are automatically assigned to the product when created by the vendor logged in at the time.

Is your product enabled?

You can triple check to make sure your product is actually enabled? If you see your product in the back end, you can check this first.

Ensure this is set to Yes. You can also see this on the product grid.

Is your product set to out of stock?

If your product is set to out of stock, your marketplace might be configured to hide all out of stock products. Ensure that there is at least a positive value in the quantity field in order to show it as In Stock when creating the product (this will not auto update when editing an existing product). Also you want to ensure that Stock Status is set to In Stock.

Is your product's visibility set correctly?

The default option for your product to appear should be Catalog, Search. This will show the product in search results and in the category pages. The exception would be simple products that are part of a configurable product.

Is your product only available for certain customer groups?

This is something that is mostly handled by the Marketplace Owner - which can be managed under Customers > Customer Group Catalog > Rules

Here you can select the rules and what customer group parameters to display a product.

Still not showing up?

As a vendor - if you have tried the above steps, please reach out to the Marketplace Owner. If you are the Marketplace Owner doing this on behalf of the vendor, you can reach out to your Omnyfy support team.
