Connecting your Google Shopping Product Feed to Omnyfy Fuse

Omnyfy Fuse has a standard connector to fetch and parse Google shopping product feed. Currently XML is the only supported format.

To set up the Google shopping product feed to Fuse, Omnyfy will need just need the feed URL in XML RSS 2.0 format (Atom format is also supported):

Google Product Feed - This is the standard feed, that includes the product information.

Google Product Inventory Feed (for older Google Feed Structures) - This is only required in order to import the inventory to the marketplace if you are using an older feed which does not render availability. To verify if your feed has availability, please visit your feed and check if it has any availability / quantity fields on each product.

Vendors are required to update the feed regularly on their end.
It is a requirement on the customer to map their categories to corresponding Google Merchant Center categories standard. These categories will be matched to corresponding categories in the marketplace. See below:

Most e-commerce systems provide a way out of the box or by using plugins to generate this feed. Please check with your current e-commerce developers / managers if you are unsure on how to create a Google Feed for your webstore.
