Configuring Advanced Pricing
When creating a product that isn't grouped, or configurable, you'll be able to see an option for Advanced Pricing.
Clicking on this will open a fly out that will include some additional attributes for you to set.
Field | Notes |
Special Price | Input a price here that will override the default pricing added on the main Pricing field. In the example above, the pricing was $99.95. In this case, the product while this special price is active, it will be able to be purchased at $79.95 instead. |
Special Price From / To | This sets the duration of how long you would like the special price to be set to. Once the date reaches outside of these parameters, the price will revert back to the normal pricing. |
Cost | This is used for wholesale purposes. The cost here will be what is paid to the vendors when paying a wholesale vendor. |
Customer Group Price | Here you can specify pricing for specific groups and tier quantity amounts: EG - for a specific group, you could have this product at a reduced cost than normal customers if they buy more than 10. |
Customer Group Price - Website | Select the Marketplace this group pricing will apply to. |
Customer Group Price - Customer Group | Select the Customer Group (if specific) the pricing will apply to. |
Customer Group Price - Quantity | Select the minimum quantity that this pricing will apply. |
Customer Group Price - Price | Select if it's Fixed or Discount.
If Fixed, you can set a dollar value for this tier. Eg $70
If Discount, you can set the % to be reduced. Eg 20% |
Customer Group - Add | You can have multiple rows apply. In this case, you can include different prices for different customer groups, or tier pricing for the same group. Eg - Buy 10 and get this product for $70 each. - Buy 20 and get this product for $55 each.
And so forth.
You can also have it so that
- Customer Group A - This product costs $70
- Customer Group B - This product costs $75 |
Once completed in your set up, select Done from the top right to apply it. You can then continue to edit the product or save it from the product edit page.
