Adding funds to your Stripe Wallet

As a Marketplace Owner, you may want to add some funds into your Stripe account in preparation for refunds for orders that have already been paid out. You can set this up in Stripe, if you are a Stripe account owner or have permission to add it the balance.


1. Navigate to Balances on the left menu. On the right, you should see a button Add to balance”.

 



NOTE: This button will only appear if you have a bank account already linked to your Stripe account.
 
2. A pop up will appear, where you can select where to add your funds to. Click on "Refunds and disputes".

 

3. Enter the Amount and then click "Next"

 

4. You will see a Bank account to transfer the amount to:

  1. Transfer the money to the bank account and ensure REFERENCE uses the code provided.
  2. Upload the bank receipt once done and click on "Confirm Transfer" checkbox.

 


 

5. Select the button Confirm transfer and it will then trigger the sequence of events from the bank to take some funds and add it to your balance. If it doesn't come through, you will need to verify this with your bank or with Stripe.
