Adding funds to your Stripe Account

Adding funds to your Stripe Account

To add funds to your Stripe account, you need to visit the Balances page from Stripe.

1. Log in to Stripe as a Marketplace Owner
2. Navigate to Balances from the top menu. You should be taken to the Overview page.

3. Select Add to balance from the buttons next to the heading

4. A pop up will appear which will indicate how much you would like to add. Ensure you select Pay out connected accounts. If you are adding funds to your balance to cover future refunds and disputes, or to repay your platform’s negative balance, select Cover negative balances and see adding funds to your Stripe balance.

5. Verify your bank account if you haven't already (generally this includes Stripe sending 2 microdeposits from stripe to the designated bank account (this may take 1-2 business days depending on your bank). It will show up as ACCTVERIFY in the statement description.

Once verified, you will be able to top up your Stripe account.
