Ensure you have completed all the necessary steps in preparing your order with Easyship first before continuing here.
There are 2 ways you can control your shipping.
Manually booking a specific day/time to pick up the orders
Pre-arranged couriers making set scheduled pick ups
STEP 1. If you are ready to ship from the order shipment view, you can select "Go to Pickup Management".
Alternatively, you can also select Sales > Easyship Booking Management from the side menu.
STEP 2. Here you will see a list of couriers with orders already set in the Easyship Account. Select the courier you would like to organise the bookings for by selecting "View Pickup Details" on the right column.
STEP 3. The next screen will show you available orders for this courier that you can ship with and updated shipping information as it comes. The columns are as follows:
Order #: This is the Order ID
Shipping ID: Used by Easyship as a Reference for the shipment
Customer Name / Delivery Address: These are the customer's details
Country: Country of the shipment
Items: Number of items in the shipment
Shipment Status: This will update once the shipment has been booked - and is another way you can check the progress of the courier with this order
Track Shipment: This is the link/reference that customers can use to track their order.
Cancel Shipment: This will cancel the shipment. Shipments can only be cancelled before they are picked up.
Here, you can ship with the 2 options.
Here you will be selecting a day and if available, a specific time spot that you would like for a courier to come and pick up your selected parcels.
STEP 1-3: Follow steps same as above
Once you go into the pick up detail page - you can select multiple orders for the same courier, and book them all at once! In this example, the highlighted order here is ready to ship.
STEP 4. Simply select the checkbox on the left of each line item, and then choose Book Pickup from the top right menu.
STEP 5. A pop window will appear with the available days and times (depending on couriers) that the orders can be picked up. Simply select a timeslot and choose Confirm Pickup Date and Time.
STEP 6. If successful, your order is now ready to be picked up!
You will also notice that you have a Pickup Reference. This is generated and also stored in Easyship.
Now you will just have to wait until the couriers come to pick up the package.
For this type of shipping, this is generally when the couriers have a consistent routine pick up from the location (eg daily, or Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays etc). Here you will not need to book a time slot as above.
STEP 1-3: Follow steps same as above
Once you go into the pick up detail page - you can select multiple orders for the same courier, and hand them all over to that courier at once!
STEP 4. Select the relevant orders by ticking the checkbox on the left and selecting Mark as Handed Over.
STEP 5. If successful, your order is now handed over!
